2nd Floor – Real Time Crime Center Cabling
1.Provide and install (9) 4-CAT6 Plenum Rated Cables from the new 2 nd Floor IDF to the new
cubicle locations in the Real Time Crime Center.
2.CAT6 Jacks shall be used to terminate cabling at the station side and housed in a 4-port furniture faceplate.
3.All new cabling shall be terminated, tested, and labeled according to current industry standards.
Real Time Crime Center new IDF
1.Provide and install (1) CPI 2-Post Rack to house all new enclosures and patch panels.
2.Provide and install (2) 48 Port CAT6 Patch Panel to terminate all new CAT6 Cabling.
3.Provide and install (1) Double Sided Vertical Cable Manager to neatly dress new cabling in the new IDF.
4.Provide and install (2) 2U Wire Managers in the new IT Rack.
5.Provide and install a cable runway system in the new IDF to properly route new cabling to the rack.
6.Provide and install a White fire-rated backboard for a new cable runway to mount to.
7.The new IT Rack and runway shall be properly grounded and bonded.
8.Provide and install (3) 4-Inch Sleeves to provide a pathway for new CAT6 Cabling and Fiber Cabling.
12 Strand SM Fiber – 2
nd Floor Server Room to the new Real Time Crime Center IDF
1. Provide and install 12 Strand OS2 Fiber Optic Cabling from the 2 nd Floor Server Room to
the new Real Time Crime Center IDF.
2. Provide and install (1) Rack Mounted Fiber Optic Panel to be used in the new IDF.
3. Provide and install (2) LC SM Fiber optic cassettes, (1) in the existing Server Room Fiber optic panel, and (1) in the new Real Time Crime Center Fiber optic Panel.
4. All new cabling shall terminate onto LC Fiber Optic Connectors and be loaded onto new Fiber Optic Cassettes.
5. Provide (2) 3 Meter OS2 LC to LC Fiber Optic patch cords to be used at each end.
6. In the install ID Tags and support fiber optic cable.
