RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SURFACEDESIGN, INC., FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE MISSION BOULEVARD LINEAR PARK PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05288 WHEREAS, the aforesaid parties have entered into that certain Agreement dated the 4th day of August, 2020, entitled “Agreement for Professional Services between the City of Hayward and SurfaceDesign, Inc., for the Mission Boulevard Linear Park Landscape Project Design Services” in the amount of $310,000; and WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant desire to amend the Agreement in certain respects to provide additional services for construction support for the Mission Boulevard Liner Park Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Hayward, an amendment to the agreement with SurfaceDesign, Inc., for additional services in an amount not-to-exceed $80,000, thereby increasing the total contract amount to a total not-to-exceed $390,000 associated with the Mission Boulevard Linear Park Project.
