RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 AGREEMENT WITH ST. FRANCIS ELECTRIC, INC., FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND STREETLIGHT MAINTENANCE PROJECT NOS. 05187 AND 05189 WHEREBY INCREASING THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BY $300,000 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,164,000 WHEREAS, the City entered into an Agreement with St. Francis Electric, Inc., (“St. Francis”), on September 13, 2019 for on-call traffic signal and streetlight maintenance services; and WHEREAS, the Agreement expires on June 30, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the City and St. Francis desire to amend the agreement to expand the capacity to perform necessary work to maintain the City’s streetlight and traffic signals; and WHEREAS, the Adopted FY23 budgets for Project Nos. 05187 and 05189, Traffic Signal Maintenance and Streetlight Maintenance, respectively, are sufficient to fund the proposed increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute an amendment to the professional services agreement with St. Francis in the amount of $300,000 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,164,000 over the term of the contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
