RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF POOJA RATHAUR FROM THE HAYWARD YOUTH COMMISSION AND APPOINTING RONAK SHARMA TO FULFILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM WHICH WILL EXPIRE JUNE 30, 2023 WHEREAS, Ms. Pooja Rathaur was appointed to the Hayward Youth Commission on June 18, 2019 as an alternate member; and WHEREAS, Ms. Pooja Rathaur was promoted on June 16, 2020, as a voting member; and WHEREAS, Ms. Pooja Rathaur was reappointed on June 15, 2021; and WHEREAS, Ms. Pooja Rathaur submitted a resignation letter on October 3, 2022; and WHEREAS, Mr. Ronak Sharma was appointed to the Hayward Youth Commission on June 21, 2022, as an alternate member; and WHEREAS, Mr. Ronak Sharma was recommended to be selected from the Hayward Youth Commission Alternate List to fulfill the unexpired term.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the Council hereby accepts the resignation of Ms. Pooja Rathaur from the Hayward Youth Commission; and commends her for her civic service to the City.
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that Mr. Ronak Sharma is selected from the Hayward Youth Commission Alternate List to fulfill the unexpired term, which will expire on June 30, 2023.
