RESOLUTION APPOINTING MS. ARTI GARG TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF MR. ZACHARAI OQUENDA WHEREAS, the City Council conducted its annual recruitment for City commissions and the Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force from April 5, 2022 through June 16, 2022; and WHEREAS, on September 20, 2022, the City Council established an alternate list comprising eligible applicants who would be appointed to serve as vacancies occurred during 2022; and WHEREAS, Ms. Arti Garg was selected as the alternate for the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, Planning Commissioner Zacharai Oquenda resigned, effective November 14, 2022, which created a vacancy on the Planning Commission.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that Ms. Arti Garg is selected from the alternate list and appointed to fill Mr. Zacharai Oquenda unexpired term, which will expire on September 30, 2026.
