person interviews in the Council Chambers starting at
5:30 p.m.
•
Interview time: 30 minutes for each applicant (3 = intro; 25 = questions/answers; 2 = closing remarks)
•
Mayor allows each member of the City Council to ask one question of each applicant. No pre
-
established questions.
•
Mayor calls for nominations.
•
Mayor calls for a vote on each nominee. The first nominee to receive four or more votes will be the new member
.
Members do not have to vote and can abstain from voting if they wish. Voting will continue until one nominee receives four votes.
7 2RECOMMENDATION
That the Council reviews applications from qualified individuals interested in appointment to the two-year vacant City Council seat; and approves the interview process for January 9, 2023.
