RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF HAYWARD AND MAZE AND ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL AUDIT AND REPORTING SERVICES FOR AN ADDITIONAL TWO YEARS FOR AN ANNUAL AMOUT OF $110,000 WHEREAS, the City enter into an agreement with Maze & Associates in December 2018 for professional financial audit and reporting services for a term of three-years; and WHEREAS, due to an administrative oversight, the original agreement did not provide authority to exercise two (2) one-year contract extensions; and WHEREAS, the City recommends amending the agreement with Maze & Associates for an additional two years, for a total contract term of five years; and BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate and execute an agreement amendment with Maze & Associates for financial audit and reporting services in the annual amount of $110,00, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for financial audit and reporting services for the financial audit and reporting of fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.
