RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH SAMSARA INC IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $105,465 AND AN EFFECTIVE TERM LENGTH THROUGH FY2026 WHEREAS, the Fleet Division is responsible for the management of over 450 vehicles and pieces of equipment; and WHEREAS, staff routinely uses fleet management software and telematics to support vehicle diagnostics and reporting; and, WHEREAS, staff recommends entering into a professional services agreement with Samsara Inc, which won the competitive bidding process through Sourcewell, to provide these services; and, WHEREAS, Fleet Division’s annual adopted operating budget will fund this item without an impact to the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a professional services agreement with Samsara Inc in an amount not-to-exceed $105,465 and an effective term length through FY2026.
