RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE STACK CENTER - PROJECT NOS. 06960 AND CALL FOR BIDS WHEREAS, those certain plans and specifications for the Stack Center – Phase 1 Project, Project No. 06960, on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby adopted as the plans and specifications for the project; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice calling for bids for the required work and material to be made in the form and manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, sealed bids therefor will be received by the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 777 B Street, City Hall Rotunda, Hayward, California 94541, up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and declared by the City Clerk in the Hayward City Hall Rotunda, located on the 1st Floor of City Hall, Hayward, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council will consider a report on the bids at a regular meeting following the aforesaid opening and declaration of same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the project is categorically exempt under section 15302 of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines for the replacement or reconstruction of an existing structure with the same size, purpose, and capacity.
