RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT AND APPROPRIATE UP TO $15,000 IN DONATIONS ANNUALLY FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS FOR THE ANNUAL HAYWARD VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AND AWARDS DINNER WHEREAS, the City of Hayward and County of Alameda have collaborated to host the Annual Hayward Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner; and WHEREAS, the City of Hayward has received a donation of $8,000 from the County of Alameda for this years Annual Hayward Volunteer Dinner; and WHEREAS, these donations will be used to pay for expenses used to facilitate the Annual Hayward Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to accept and appropriate up to $15,000 annually in donations annually for the next five years to fund 240 for the Annual Hayward Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner.
