CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
There was no closed session announcement. City Manager McAdoo announced the Council was going to reconvene into closed session at the conclusion of the open session. A report out of closed session will be provided on August 15, 2023.

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS
1. Adopt a Resolution Ratifying the Proclamation of Local Emergency Due to Cybersecurity Incident (Report from City Manager McAdoo)
A motion was made by Council Member Goldstein, seconded by Council Member Bonilla Jr ., to approve a resolution ratifying the proclamation of local emergency. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: Council Member Andrews, Council Member Bonilla Jr., Council Member Goldstein, Council Member Roche, Council Member Syrop, Council Member Zermeno, and Mayor Salinas 7 -
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Salinas adjourned the special City Council meeting at 7:17 p.m. and reconvened into closed session.
