The Special City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Salinas at 7:00 p.m. The City Council held a meeting in Conference Room 2A.

CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
There was no closed session announcement. City Manager McAdoo announced the Council would reconvene into closed session at the conclusion of the open sessio n. A report out of closed session will be provided on August 15, 2023.

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS
1. Adopt a Resolution Ratifying the Proclamation of Local Emergency Due to Cybersecurity Incident (Report from City Manager McAdoo) LB 23-031
Staff report submitted by City Manager McAdoo dated July 13, 2023, was filed.
City Manager McAdoo provided a synopsis of the staff report and responded to ques tions raised by members of the City Council.
There being no public comment, Mayor Salinas opened and closed the public hearing at 7:15 p.m.
It wa s moved by Council M ember Goldstein, seconded by Council Member Bonilla Jr., and carried by the following roll call vote, to approve the resolution.
