Committee Questions / Discussion
Council Member (CM) Andrews recommended that community meetings be held at the park rather than at schools, as community members may feel more comfortable with that.

She would like information and updates about the progress of Main Street to be available on the City's website, such as the benefits to pedestrians and the community and the dates that the community outreach was done.

CM Bonilla was pleased that speed was reduced by approximately 14 percent in Phase I of the project.

Mayor Salinas asked if brighter striping and a median can be added on Gading Road to reduce speeding. He would like the crosswalk painting to reflect the school colors of California State University, East Bay.
