Hi Amy,
Please accept this email as formal notice of my resignation from the Hayward Community Services Commission effective immediately.
It has been a great experience to serve our community in this capacity over the past 4 years. I'm proud of all that we have accomplished together, particularly through a global pandemic and racial reckonings in our country. It has been especially rewarding facilitating the change from our Commission focusing solely on funding allocations to becoming an active voice on many issues impacting our community, as noted in the CSC charter.
Please pass along my gratitude to the entire Commission, to Council Members and to the fantastic staff at city hall for their support. I will continue to watch the growth and action of our CSC in the coming years, and remain available if ever needed in the future.
