RESOLUTION APPOINTING JESUS ALEJANDRO REYNOSO AND TEMILOLUWA OGUNKANMI TO THE HAYWARD YOUTH COMMISSION TO FILL THE SEATS OF SHARANA SABESAN AND NIKI SHIVA FOR TERMS EXPIRING JUNE 30, 2025 WHEREAS, the City conducted its annual recruitment for the Hayward Youth Commission from March 9, 2023 to May 19, 2023; and WHEREAS, on June 20, 2023, the City Council established an alternate list comprising eligible applicants who would be appointed to serve as vacancies occurred during 2023/2024; and WHEREAS, Jesus Alejandro Reynoso and Temiloluwa Ogunkanmi were selected as alternates for the Hayward Youth Commission; and WHEREAS, seats of Hayward Youth Commissioners Sharana Sabesan and Niki Shiva are declared vacant since they have not attended any meetings since September 2023.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that Jesus Alejandro Reynoso and Temiloluwa Ogunkanmi are selected from the alternate list and appointed to fill Commissioners Sharana Sabesan’s and Niki Shiva’s unexpired terms, which will expire on June 30, 2025.
