RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DEWBERRY ARCHITECTS, INC., BY $114,000 FOR THE HAYWARD POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCKER ROOM BUILDING, PROJECT NO. 07420 WHEREAS, on March 1, 2022, the City Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with Dewberry Architects, Inc. for design services associated with the Hayward Police Department Locker Room Project; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 23-278 on December 12, 2023, the City Council approved the plans and specifications based on the original footprint design of the building to be annexed to the existing HPD building; and WHEREAS, amendment to the PSA with Dewberry Architects, Inc., is necessary to meet ADA requirements in order to proceed with obtaining construction bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hayward hereby approves authorizing the City Manager to amend the Professional Services Agreement with Dewberry Architects, Inc.
