RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROPRIATE $114,000 FROM CAPITAL PROJECTS (GOVERNMENTAL) - FUND 405 TO HAYWARD POLICE DEPARTMENT (HPD) LOCKER ROOM BUILDING, PROJECT NO. 07420 WHEREAS, on March 1, 2022, the City Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with Dewberry Architects, Inc., for design services associated with the Hayward Police Department Locker Room Project in the amount of $416,000; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 23-278 on December 12, 2023, the City Council approved the plans and specifications based on the original footprint design of the building to be annexed to the existing HPD building; and WHEREAS, amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Dewberry Architects, Inc., is necessary in the amount of $114,000 for not-to-exceed amount of $530,000 in order to incorporate building accessibility requirements and complete the construction documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hayward hereby approves that $114,000 from the Capital Project (Governmental) – Fund 405, Project No. 07420.
