That the City Council adopted Resolution No. 87-181 C.S., which imposes the 90-day deadline set forth in Code of Civil Procedure section 1094.6 for filing of any lawsuit challenging final action on an agenda item which is subject to Code of Civil Procedure section 1094.5. ***Materials related to an item on the agenda submitted to the Council after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the City Clerk ’s Office, City Hall, 777 B Street, 4th Floor, Hayward, during normal business hours. RECOMMENDATION
That the Council receives the “working agenda and schedule” and uses it to structure the departmental budget presentations during the special work session.
SUMMARY
The Proposed FY 2025 Operating Budget was delivered to Council on Friday, April 26, 2024, in advance of the May 11, 2024, Saturday work session. During the Saturday work session, Council will: (1) receive an overview of the Proposed FY 2025 Operating Budget, and (2) receive and discuss the department budgets, where the Council will have an opportunity to ask questions as well as discuss and provide feedback to each department.
The Proposed FY 2025 Operating Budget is available online on the City’s website - a link is included in Attachment II.
