RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH EBA ENGINEERING FOR UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL SERVICES FOR THE MISSION BOULEVARD CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 3 PROJECT WHEREAS, the aforesaid parties have entered into that certain Contract dated 29th day of March 2024 between the City of Hayward and EBA Engineering, for Mission Boulevard Corridor Improvements Phase 3”; and WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant desire to amend the Contract in certain respects to provide additional underground storage tank removal services for the Mission Boulevard Corridor Improvements Phase 3 Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Hayward, an amendment to the contract with EBA Engineering for additional underground storage tank removal services in an amount not-to-exceed $57,630.69, thereby increasing the total contract amount to a total not-to-exceed $162,343 associated with the Mission Boulevard Corridor Improvements Phase 3 Project, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
