RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTATE AND EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DLR GROUP - ROSSDRULISCUSENBERY, INC. FOR FINAL PHASE I CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT AND FOR PHASE II CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT, BIDDING, AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE STACK CENTER PROJECT, NOT TO EXCEED $1,520,580 WHEREAS, Hayward community members and elected officials have long held the dream of building a new South Hayward Youth and Family Center at the corner of Tennyson and Ruus Roads, referred to as the Stack Center; and WHEREAS, under an existing agreement with the City, RossDrulisCusenbery, Inc (RDC) has successfully completed the master plan, building program, design development, and Phase I construction documents for the SHYFC project; and WHEREAS, the City and its partners are ready to move forward with Phase II bidding and construction for the Stack Center project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is authorized and directed to negotiate an amendment to the professional services agreement with DLR Group - RossDrulisCusenbery, Inc. for final Phase I construction support and for Phase II Construction Document, Bidding, and Construction Services for the Stack Center project, not to exceed $1,520,580, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
