RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENTS WITH KITTELSON & ASSOCIATES, INC.; HEXAGON TRANSPORTATION CONSULTANTS, INC.; AND KIMLEY-HORN & ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR THREE YEARS FOR ON-CALL TRANSPORTATION CONSULTING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works & Utilities routinely requires services for on-call transportation consulting services to support the evaluation of development projects; and WHEREAS, on-call consultants are required to maintain operations without disruption; and WHEREAS, the City released a Request for Qualifications on October 24, 2024 and received 6 valid proposals on November 15, 2024; and WHEREAS, staff evaluated the proposals on November 20, 2024 and recommend executing agreements with three qualified consultants to provide these services, including with Kittelson & Associates, Inc.; Hexagon Transportation Consultants, Inc.; and Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the work completed by these consultants as part of these on-call agreements will be paid for by developers, project applicants and permit holders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute professional services agreements with KITTELSON & ASSOCIATES, INC.; HEXAGON TRANSPORTATION CONSULTANTS, INC.; AND KIMLEY-HORN & ASSOCIATES, INC., for a term of three years for on-call transportation consulting services, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney.
