SUBJECT: Adopt an Ordinance Amending Chapter 10, Article 1 (Zoning Ordinance), Article 2 (Off-Street Parking Regulations), Article 24 (Mission Boulevard Code) and Article 28 (Downtown Development Code) of the Hayward Municipal Code Associated with Implementation of the 2023-2031 Hayward Housing Element
RECOMMENDATION
That the Council adopts the Ordinance introduced on January 21, 2025.
SUMMARY
This item entails adoption of an Ordinance amending Chapter 10, Article 1 (Zoning Ordinance), Article 2 (Off-Street Parking Regulations), Article 24 (Mission Boulevard Code) and Article 28 (Downtown Development Code) of the Hayward Municipal Code, introduced on January 21, 2025, by Council Member Syrop.

The Ordinance was introduced by Council Member Syrop at the January 21, 2025, meeting of the City Council with the following vote:
