MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE S
AGREEMENT WITH THE PRESBYTERY OF SAN FRANCISCO TO SERVE AS THE
FISCAL SPONSOR FOR F IRST PRESBYTERIAN CH URCH OF HAYWARD TO
OPERATE THE YEAR-ROUND SHELTER AT SOUTH HA YWARD PARISH FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 FOR A NOT-TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $447,621
WHEREAS, through Resolution Number 24-149 the City Council of the City of Hayward authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute a professional services agreement with First Presbyterian Church of Hayward to operate the year-round shelter at South Hayward Parish for fiscal year 2024-2025 for a not-to-exceed amount of $447,621; and
WHEREAS, the Presbytery of San Francisco is able and willing to be a fiscal sponsor and agent for First Presbyterian Church of Hayward to pass through funds to South Hayward Parish’s year-round shelter program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward hereby amends Resolution 24-149 to change the agency that the City Manager negotiates and executes a professional services agreement from First Presbyterian Church of Hayward to The Presbytery of San Francisco.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Hayward hereby amends Resolution 24-149 to authorize and direct the City Manager to negotiate and execute a Professional Services Agreement with The Presbytery of San Francisco to serve as fiscal sponsor for First Presbyterian Church of Hayward to operate the year-round shelter at South Hayward Parish for fiscal year 2024-2025 for a not-to-exceed amount of $447,621.
