The Housing Policy and Resource Committee meeting was called to order by Mayor Salinas at 5:30 p.m. The meeting was conducted consistent with Assembly Bill 2449. The Committee meeting was held in Conference Room 2A and virtually via Zoom.

It was moved by Councilmember Goldstein, seconded by Councilmember Syrop to approve the minutes of the Housing Policy and Resource Committee meeting from December 19, 2024.

2. Work Session Regarding the Feasibility of a Rental Registration System
Management Analyst Patel presented the benefits and policy considerations related to implementing a Rental Registration System. Feedback was requested regarding the feasibility of establishing a City-run Rental Registration System.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REFERRALS
Deputy Director Morales announced updates to the SoMi Affordable Housing Units She informed the Committee that the application period is open from 3/28/2025-5/8/2025.
Orientation will be held on 4/22 and 4/29. The lottery will take place on 5/20.

Mayor Salinas adjourned the meeting at 6:36 p.m.
