SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Commissioner Marhya Kelsch from the Library Commission, Effective Immediately
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) accepting the resignation of Commissioner Marhya Kelsch, effective immediately.
SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION
Commissioner Marhya Kelsch was appointed to the Library Commission on January 23, 2024.
Marhya Kelsch’s resignation becomes effective immediately, per her resignation letter on file with the City Clerk’s office.
Ms. Marhya Kelsch’s vacated position may be filled as part of the annual appointment process for the City’s appointed officials to commissions.

The agenda item is a routine operational item and does not relate to one of the City Council’s Strategic Initiatives.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
