SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Commissioner Vikram Gautham from the Clean and Green Commission, Effective Immediately
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) accepting the resignation of Commissioner Vikram Gautham, effective immediately.
SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION
Commissioner Vikram Gautham was appointed to the Clean and Green Commission (formerly Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force) on September 12, 202 3, and reappointe d on September 17, 2024. Vikram Gautham’s resignation becomes effective immediately, per his resignation letter (Attachment III).
Mr. Vikram Gautham’s vacated position may be filled as part of the annual appointment process for the City’s appointed officials to commissions.

The agenda item is a routine operational item and does not relate to one of the City Council’s Strategic Initiatives.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
