RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PAVEMENT ENGINEERING, INC., TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE FY2 6 PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 05347
WHEREAS, professional service assistance is needed for the FY26 Pavement Improvement Project (PIP), Project No. 05347; and
WHEREAS, on March 28, 20 25, staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for pavement engineering services; and
WHEREAS, on April 24, 2025, Pavement Engineering, Inc., submitted the only valid proposal and has extensive experience with City pavement management and rehabilitation projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Pavement Engineering, Inc., for professional s ervices for the FY26 P IP, in an a mount not -to-exceed $339,020 associated with the FY26 PIP, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
