SUBJECT: Adopt a n Ordinance Amending Chapter 10, Article 1, Sections 10 -1.845 (Minimum Design and Performance Standards), 10 -1.1952 (At -C Uses Permitted) and 10-1.1953 (At-C Conditionally Permitted Uses) of the Hayward Municipal Code Updating the Regulations Governing Restaurants and Coffee Shops with Drive-Through Facilities on Properties Located within the (At-C) Air Terminal - Commercial Zoning District
RECOMMENDATION
That the Council adopts the Ordinance introduced on June 3, 2025.
SUMMARY
This item entails adoption of an Ordinance amending Chapter 10, Article 1, Sections 10-1.845 (Minimum Design and Performance Standards), 10 -1.1952 (At-C Uses Permitted) and 10 -
1.1953 (At -C Conditionally Permitted Uses) of the Hayward Municipal Code updating the regulations governing restaurants and coffee shops with drive-through facilities on properties located within the (At -C) Air Terminal - Commercial Zoning District . The item was introduced on June 3, 2025, by Council Member Zermeño.

The Ordinance was introduced by Council Member Zermeño, at the June 3, 2025, meeting of the City Council with the following vote:
