RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF HAYWARD AND INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS The City Council desires to appoint Jayanti Addleman to the position of Interim City Manager, effective July 1, 2025, with that appointment being anticipated to last until a permanent City Manager is selected and assumes that office; and WHEREAS The City Council desires to establish certain conditions of this temporary appointment, provide appropriate compensation and benefits, and set working conditions for such assignment to the position of Interim City Manager; and WHEREAS The Employee desires to accept this appointment and promotion on a temporary basis and on such terms as offered by the City Council .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward hereby approves the employment agreement between the City of Hayward and the Interim City Manager effective July 1, 2025 , until a permanent City Manager is selected and assumes office, and authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
