RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE AN
INCREASE TO THE EXISTING CONTRACT WITH PRENUVO RADIOLOGY FOR
CANCER AND HEALTH SCREENING SERVICES FOR THE HAYWARD FIRE DEPARTMENT IN A NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $105,047.00
WHEREAS, the Hayward Fire Department is contractually obligated to provide cancer screening services as per the Local 1909 Firefighter’s MOU; and
WHEREAS, the department has an existing contract with Prenuvo Radiology to provide whole body MRI cancer screening services currently in an amount of $99,291.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve the increase to the existing contract with Prenuvo Radiology to provide funding for requested cancer-screening MRI services.
