RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH TYLER
TECHNOLOGIES, INC TO ADD THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH MODULE TO
ENERGOV ONLINE PERMITTING IN A NOT -TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $520,000 ANNUALLY
WHEREAS, Accela, is the provider of a Hazardous Materials software product currently in use by the City of Hayward Fire Department called EnvisionConnect; and
WHEREAS, Accela notified the City of Hayward that the EnvisionConnect software product will be reaching the end of its software life on December 31st, 2025; and
WHEREAS, The City of Hayward conducted research and identified a comparable solution offered by Tyler Technologies, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to replace Accela EnvisionConnect with the Tyler Technologies, Inc. Environmental Health Module Hazardous Materials software product.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward authorizes and directs the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc. to add the Environmental Health Module to Energov Online Permitting in a not-to-exceed amount of $520,000 annually, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
