SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Commissioner Dominique Dozier from the Library Commission, Effective Immediately.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) accepting the resignation of Commissioner Dominique Dozier, effective immediately.
SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION
Commissioner Dominique Dozier was appointed to the Library Commission on September 12, 2023. Dominique Dozier’s resignation becomes effective immediately, per her resignation letter (Attachment III).
Ms. Dominique’s vacated position may be filled as part of the annual appointment process for the City’s appointed officials to commissions.

The agenda item is a routine operational item and does not relate to one of the City Council’s Strategic Initiatives.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
