Dear Director Vien,
After much thought, I have decided to step down from the Library Commission. It has truly been an honor to serve and to witness the impact of the library on our community.
As I look ahead, I hope to pursue an educational doctorate this summer, and I know I need to dedicate time to preparing for that next step. While my time on the Commission is ending, I will also keep supporting the library by sharing events, cheering you on, and visiting whenever I can.
I was able to visit the Weeks Branch on the opening day and I was beyond thrilled to see how beautiful the library looked and how excited the patrons were.
I wish the library and the Commission continued success and look forward to seeing all the wonderful work ahead.
