RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF HAYWARD AND CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council embarked on an extensive search for the City Manager following separation of the former City Manager on June 24, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Employer recognizes the weight of the responsibility and approached the search with the utmost care, professionalism, and focus, aided by the trusted search firm; and
WHEREAS, the Employer has selected Jennifer Ott to serve as the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward hereby approves the employment agreement between the City of Hayward and the City Manager beginning December 8, 2025, through December 8, 2028, and authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement.
