RESOLUTION APPOINTING AMARILIS DIAZ TO THE PERSONNEL
COMMISSION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF RANDY WRIGHT
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted its annual recruitment for City commissions from May 8, 2025 through August 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, on September 2, 202 5, the City Council established an alternate list comprising eligible applicants who would be appointed to serve as vacancies occurred during 2025; and
WHEREAS, Amarilis Diaz was selected as the first alternate for the Personnel Commission; and
WHEREAS, Personnel Commissioner Randy Wright resigned, effective October 13 . 2025, which created a vacancy on the Personnel Commission.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that Amarilis Diaz is selected from the alternate list and appointed to fill Randy Wright’s unexpired term, which will expire on September 30, 2027.
