Candi and Ian,
Please accept this message as my resignation from the Personnel Commission, both as Chair and Commissioner.
I have decided due to health issues it's best for me to move into my Palm Springs area house as a full time resident.
I have completed the sale on my Hayward Hills house and it's with a heavy heart and the best memories I have EVER had serving Hayward on the Personnel Commission.
Staff has been full of kindness and compassion that no other City has, the "true heart" that you all embrace demonstrates Hayward IS the "Heart of the Bay".
My professional career over the last 30 years has been in Hayward and my service to the City I love was the "icing" on my career cake.
The experiences we all shared have a higher endurance for lasting change and the impact the Personnel Commission has been elevated too, I'm beyond honored to have participated and contributed.
