SUBJECT: Adopt an Ordinance Amending Reach Codes for the City of Hayward by Amending the City’s Off-Street Parking Regulations (Chapter 10, Article 2); and Amending the Building Code of the City of Hayward (Chapter 9, Article 1) of the Hayward Municipal Code
RECOMMENDATION
That the Council adopts the Ordinance introduced on November 18, 2025.
SUMMARY
This item entails the adoption of an Ordinance amending Chapter 10, Article 2 (City’s Off- Street Parking Regulations ); and Chapter 9, Article 1 ( Building Code ) of the Hayward Municipal Code. The Ordinance was introduced on November 18, 2025, by Council Member Roche.

The Ordinance was introduced by Council Member Roche at the November 18, 2025, meeting of the City Council with the following vote:
