RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ESRI FOR A SMALL MUNICIPAL AND
COUNTY GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT (SGEA) IN A NOT-TO- EXCEED AMOUNT OF $126,000 ANNUALLY
WHEREAS, ESRI has been the provider of GIS software for the City for over twenty years; and
WHEREAS, on November 15 th, 2022, City Council passed CONS 22 -630 which authorized the City Manager to purchase the SGEA Enterprise platform; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue the SGEA Enterprise platform to enhance and expand current offerings beyond standard licensing; and
WHEREAS, ESRI is the sole provider of ESRI software and offers the Small Municipal and County Government Enterprise Agreement (SGEA) for purchase of the Enterprise platform.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward authorizes and directs the City Manager to negotiate and execute an Agreement with ESRI for a Small Municipal and County Government Enterprise Agreement (SGEA) in an Amount not to exceed $126,000 annually, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
