RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PAVEMENT ENGINEERING, INC., TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE F ISCAL YEAR 27 PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05360
WHEREAS, the City of Hayward and Pavement Engineering, Inc. , entered into an agreement for Professional Services on June 16, 2025 for engineering services for pavement rehabilitation and preventive maintenance; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for professional engineering services for the F iscal Year 27 Pavement Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Hayward, an amendment to the agreement with Pavement Engineering, Inc., for additional services associated with the FY27 Pavement Improvement Project increasing the maximum compensation in the amount of $572,225 for a total maximum compensation not-to-exceed $911,245, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
