Annual City Commissions Interviews: Annual City Commissions Interviews: Interview Applicants for Service on City Commissions (Report from City Clerk) ACT 26-039 Members of the City Council interviewed nineteen applicants as follows: Alicia Sierra Martinez, Jed Mariz Nugal, Maryell Azucena Abella, Sophia Sanhueza, Guadalupe Romero, Jose Montesinos, Israel Mendez, Victor Gomez, Vrushali Nanjundappa, Carmen Caballero, Eric Hernandez, Patricia Saunders, Richard Luna, Daisy Maxion, Funmi Ilesanmi, Josh Rubietta, Shawn Dennis, Geena Ballesteros, and Phylis Essandoh. Applicant Philippe Sudaria withdrew his application, and applicant Abigail McMurry did not participate.

CLEAN AND GREEN COMMISSION
Motion made by Council Member Andrews, seconded by Council Member Zermeño, to select the following individuals for terms as follows: Josh Rubietta (2-year term), Sophia Sanhueza (2- year term), Maryell Azucena Abella (1-year term), Israel Mendez (1-year term), and Jed Mariz Nugal (1-year term). Alicia Sierra Martinez as first alternate and Shawn Dennis as the second alternate.

Motion made by Council Member Syrop, seconded by Council Member Bonilla Jr., to select the following individuals for terms as follows: Victor Gomez (2-year term), Jose Montesinos (3-year term), Guadalupe Romero (3-year term), and Vrushali Nanjundappa (4-year term).
