RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT OR AMENDMENTS WITH PRENUVO RADIOLOGY
TO PROVIDE CANCER AND HEALTH SCREENING SERVICES FOR THE
HAYWARD FIRE DEPARTMENT WITH A MAXIMUM COMPENSATION
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 PER YEAR OR A TOTAL OF $ 500,000
OVER FIVE YEARS
WHEREAS, the Hayward Fire Department is contractually obligated to provide cancer screening services as per the Local 1909 Firefighter’s MOU;
WHEREAS, the department has an existing agreement with Prenuvo Radiology to provide whole body MRI cancer screening services currently in an amount of $99,291;
WHERES, the department wishes to extend its agreement with Prenuvo Radiology with a maximum compensation amount not-to-exceed $100,000 per year or $500,000 over a five-year period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute an agreement with Prenuvo Radiology to provide cancer and health screening services for the Hayward Fire Department with a maximum compensation amount-not-to-exceed $100,000 per year or $500,000 over a five-year period.
