RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SHARP PERFORMANCE TO
EXTENDING THE TERM FOR FOUR ADDITIONAL YEARS AND INCREASING THE MAXIMUM COMPENSATION FROM $65,000 FOR A ONE -YEAR TERM TO $325,000 FOR A FIVE -YEAR TERM TO PROVIDE DIGITAL MENTAL HEALTH
SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE HAYWARD FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Hayward Fire Department entered into an initial one-year agreement with Sharp performance in 2026 to provide mental health support services for sworn members of the department; and
WHEREAS, the services, terms, conditions, and product remain favorable and preferred; and
WHEREAS, the Hayward Fire Department would like to extend the agreement with Sharp Performance for a period of up to four additional years for a total of five years with a maximum compensation amount not to exceed $65,000 per year or $325,000 for a five-year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hayward that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to or otherwise extend the agreement with Sharp Performance to provide digital mental health support services for the Hayward Fire Department in an amount not -to-exceed $65,000 per year or $ 325,000 for a five-year term.
