SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Commissioner Jacob Jones from the Hayward Youth Commission, Effective Immediately
RECOMMENDATION
That the Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) accepting the resignation of Commissioner Jacob Jones from the Hayward Youth Commission, effective immediately.
SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION
Commissioner Jacob Jones was appointed to the Hayward Youth Commission on June 18, 2024, and his term extended until June 30, 2027. Mr. Jacob Jones’ resignation becomes effective immediately, per his resignation letter (Attachment III).
Mr. Jacob Jones’ vacated position may be filled as part of the annual appointment process for the Hayward Youth Commission.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
