RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF
HAYWARD CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act (Government Code Section 81000 et seq.) requires local government agencies to adopt and maintain conflict of interest codes and requires local agencies to review their code biennially to determine whether amendments are necessary; and
WHEREAS, City Administrative Rule 9.1 constitutes the City of Hayward’s Conflict of Interest Code (Code); and
WHEREAS, all amendments to the Conflict-of-Interest Code reflect organizational changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Hayward hereby accepts and approves the amendments to the Conflict-of-Interest Code for the City of Hayward, as contained in Attachment III to the accompanying staff report.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager and/or City Clerk are authorized and directed to make the necessary modifications to Administrative Rule 9.1 to reflect the approved amendments.
