1 Proof of payment of $15,000 to City of
Hayward toward the establishment’s
outstanding $20,235.27 business license tax.
Proof of payment is insufficient to cure the
delinquency for business license tax;
therefore, the establishment is still operating
without a business license. Based on the
evidence provided, the business owner has
been operating without a business license
since 2009. Since 2022, there have been eight
violation notices directing the business owner
to cure the violations, which have been
ignored. Additionally, the business owner has
not paid the fee for the most recent Tobacco
Retailer License or the penalties and fees
incurred for violations. Additionally, the
property owner has two violations for
possessing prohibited products. Staff
recommend revocation.
