1. SPECIAL MEETING - 2: 00 P. M.
2. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council of the City of Hemet met on this date in a Regular Session at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Latham Avenue, Hemet, California with Mayor Peterson presiding.
3. ROLL CALL
City Clerk Maier provided the Roll Call as follows:

Mayor Peterson asked for Public Comments, and no one spoke.
7. DISCUSSION CITY COUNCIL TEAM BUILDING, COMMUNICATION &
GOVERNANCE'
7. A Brown Act and Public Hearing Training
City Attorney Graham provided a presentation on the Brown Act and Public Hearing Training.
7. 13 Team Building Exercise
City Manager Prestwich provided a presentation on team building and provided an overview of A Key Ingredient for Success: An Effective City Council/ City Manager Relationship.
Council Member Males left the dais at 3:08 p.m. Council Member Males returned to the dais at 3: 15 p. m.
Council Member Kendrick left the dais at 3:23 p.m. Council Member Kendrick returned to the dais at 3:26 p.m.
Mayor Peterson called a recess at 3:36 p.m. Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 3:42 p. m.
7. 0 Communications Discussion
City Manager Prestwich provided a presentation on communications and provided an overview of Attributes of Exceptional Councils.
7. D Governance Discussion
City Manager Prestwich provided the newly adopted City Council Protocols and discussed various topics of good governance.
8. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Peterson adjourned the meeting at 4:29 p.m. The next Special City Council Meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on December 16, 2024.
