RESOLUTION NO. 22-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES ACCEPTING THE CIVIC & SYCAMORE PEDESTRIAN ENHANCEMENT PROJECT AS COMPLETE FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $98,943 AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE WHEREAS, the Civic and Sycamore Pedestrian Enhancement Project was awarded to HM Construction on September 22, 2020; and WHEREAS, this project included a concrete-curbed pedestrian median refuge, bollards to create bulb-outs, a new high visibility ladder crosswalk, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), new curb ramps, and striping to channelize; and WHEREAS, the work was completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer; and WHEREAS, this project was completed for $98,943 and is fully funded by Gas Tax Funds in the adopted Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby accepts the Civic and Sycamore Pedestrian Enhancement Project as complete for a total amount of $98,943 and authorizes the filing of the Notice of Completion with the Contra Costa County Recorder’s Office.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 22nd day of March 2022 by the following vote of the Council:
