HERCULES CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-031
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hercules amending the general FUND FY 2021-22 Budget INCREASING its appropriation BY $115,000 WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the FY 2021-22 Budget on June 22, 2021, and amended it at Midyear on February 22, 2022, representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Hercules; and WHEREAS, staff is proposing that the General Fund expenditure appropriations be increased by $115,000 for Hinderliter de Llamas (HdL) contract amendment to provide overall administrative oversight of Hercules’ ARPA programs and to provide Economic Development staffing services funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund loss of revenue component; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the report and recommendations of the City Manager on the budget amendments and has determined that the budget amendments are both fair, appropriate and warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hercules as follows:
The Council hereby approves an amendment to the City’s General Fund FY 2021-22 Budget to add $115,000 for the Hinderliter de Llamas (HdL) contract amendment to provide overall administrative oversight of Hercules’ ARPA programs and to provide Economic Development staffing services funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund loss of revenue component.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 26th day of April 2022, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: T. Grimsley, C. Kelley, D. Romero, Vice Mayor A. Walker-Griffin, Mayor D. Bailey.
