HERCULES CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 22-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE BAYFRONT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO PROVIDE A SERIES OF SPECIAL EVENTS FOR THE CITY OF HERCULES IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000; AND ALLOCATING $25,000 FOR A FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION IN FY 22-23 WHEREAS, the City of Hercules agrees to work with the Bayfront Chamber of Commerce to identify a series of special events for the City of Hercules; and WHEREAS, the Bayfront Chamber of Commerce will run these agreed upon events in the City of Hercules during the 2022-23FY; and WHEREAS, the Bayfront Chamber of Commerce will provide a written recap of the event at the conclusion of each event; and WHEREAS, the Bayfront Chamber of Commerce will provide a detailed account of how money was spent for each event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Bayfront Chamber of Commerce to provide a series of special events in the amount of $35,000, and explore the possibility of working with the City of Pinole to host a joint Fourth of July 2023 celebration for an amount not to exceed $25,000.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 26th day of July 2022 by the following vote of the Council:
