RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH METROPOLITAN PLANNING GROUP (DBA M-GROUP) FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $106,000 WHEREAS, the City of Hercules has a need for planning consulting services to perform duties involving development application review, public information, and ordinance preparation; and WHEREAS, the City has very limited staff resources for Planning services, with a permanent full-time staff of 2.0 FTE in Community Development; and WHEREAS, M-Group is intimately familiar with the City of Hercules plans, codes, policies and procedures, having performed contract planning services for the City since August 2021; and WHEREAS, M-Group has the expertise and capacity to continue performing contract planning services in Fiscal Year 2022-23; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hercules; Authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with M-Group for a total amount not to exceed $106,000.
Funding for this contract to be provided from professional services of the General Fund budget for the Community Development Department.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the ninth day of August 2022, by the following vote of the Council:
